What is a Mental Health Coach?

"Mental Health Coaches help clients develop a healthy balance in life, give guidance in decision making, offer support in navigating mental health difficulties, and assist in establishing a recovery plan. Coaches support clients in discovering ways to obtain and maintain stability, manage difficult symptoms, rebuild relationships, and find purpose for living. Also, coaches assist clients in finding resources for professional care and treatment, family support, and education." American Association of Christian Counselors

My passion is to help you see yourself through the eyes of Jesus and to offer hope and encouragement to you in your season of hurting, while providing clear guidance and direction toward a path of recovery. Once upon a time, this was my story. I needed hope.
The scripture I clung to was from Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Knowing that God was with me was comforting, but knowing that God was for me and sufficient for me was what got me through. For, God is our hope!
