The Life Coaching Relationship
Beginning the Coaching Relationship!
To begin the coaching relationship, please e-mail me and let me know why you are seeking a Christian Life Coach. Use the form on the bottom of this page. I will follow up with you with a short Coaching Questionnaire. Once you complete the questionnaire and e-mail it back to me, I will e-mail you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. The consultation is a time for each of us to see if we are a good fit for each other. If you and I decide that we are a good fit and you would like to schedule a session with me as your life coach, we will schedule our first session where we will delineate a plan of action that works for you.
The initial session will include a:
Agreed upon action plan
Agreed upon number of coaching sessions (starting with 3 and 5-session coaching packages)
Follow up/accountability/touch points, which can be done in person, phone, or e-mail. Sessions are done in-person or via virtual sessions.
Personalizing Your Career Plan
I like to coach with the clients needs in mind. Sounds obvious; that's what a coach does after all!
But, how exactly would you describe the process? Resume, cover letter, interview tips? What about your personal brand? Have you ever thought about what your style says about you and the job you want? How much effort do you put into the job search process? Do you know how to network?
Some of the answers seem obvious, but the career world is constantly changing. I want to help you design your career path and get you on the right track that will take you to where you want to be in your career.
Enriching Your Relationship
Relationships take work, but I truly believe the one you love is worth it! I've been married over 20 years and I can tell you that God is at the center of my marriage and He is why my husband and I are even more in love today than the day we first got married. Yes, dare I say, for you doubters, my husband is my soulmate and every day I thank God for blessing me with a godly man.
Statistics show that couples that stick together through the tough times will have an even stronger marriage five-years down the road. In addition, Christian counselor and author, Dr. Gary Chapman says that, "Marriages are perpetually in a state of transition, continually moving from one season to another." It's true, every marriage goes through seasons, and the ones that continue to seek God in the difficult times are the ones that have the strongest marriages.
If I could give one word of advice, it would be to pray together as a couple, daily, and in return you will have an amazing marriage!
Why Premarital Counseling?
Statistics show that your chances of staying together increases when you go through premarital counseling. Included in the 3-session premarital counseling, we will talk about how to continue to enhance your relationship and safeguard your marriage. If you are in love, and I am sure you are, I want to encourage you to start your marriage off right by investing in your relationship before you say, "I do."
